One of the things I have loved about my job is the level of support I have received from all levels of management.

I initially applied for Commbank not only because it was one of the first bank to offer a data analytics graduate program, but because I was drawn to the fantastic culture on offer. In the Analytics Graduate Program, we complete four 6-month rotations through different analytical functions in our Retail Bank. In each of my roles, I have been considered one of the team.

I have similar responsibilities and accountability that an Analyst would. Typically, I spend my days extracting data and using that to form insights before presenting back to my stakeholders. I have found that I am given autonomy to interact with stakeholders on my own and drive my own work, which I have found really enjoyable. One thing I have really loved in this role is seeing how my work can directly impact our retail customers.

On top of that, we have plenty of graduate events. We have monthly Master Classes where senior leaders in the organisation present to us, three 3-day forums in our first year where we focus on development and organised training (for both technical and soft skills). One of the things I have loved about my job is the level of support I have received from all levels of management. Everyone is always willing to help and answer all my questions.
