What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
As government we don't have bonuses. Pay is okay about average for a graduate. My program is the only Defence program to have pay progression during my program (mainly because it is significantly longer than any other program - 3 years)

I am pretty happy with the pay currently but it's not entirely sustainable as I increase my skill set so in the future, I will aim to get promoted/apply for more senior roles.

Company offers a very decent salary, and above average super contributions
Graduate, Melbourne - 04 Apr 2022
Pay is fine. For a grad program I actually think APS4 is pretty good compared to the competition. Long term I don't think APS has the greatest pay, but the work life balance makes up for it. Also APS doesn't list the super in their provided salary, it's an additional 15% on top, so considering that, the pay is quite competitive.
Graduate, Canberra - 04 Apr 2022
Pay with transparent pay progression throughout
Graduate, Sydney - 04 Apr 2022
The salary is very competitive for a graduate position and it comes with a very generous superannuation.

Pay is quite good for an engineering graduate. There are consistent pay rises each year which is also nice. However, pay is not great in senior engineering positions. 15% super is also very nice. No other bonuses though.
