Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Conduct model validation for market risk models, assessing conceptual soundness and methodology.
  • Perform ongoing performance monitoring to ensure models are fit for purpose.
  • Assist in model governance processes, including inventory and issue management.
  • Collaborate with model developers and control functions to enhance transparency and performance.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A quantitative background with a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Quant Finance, or similar.
  • Strong skills in quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and market risk models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • A risk and control mindset, with knowledge of Market Risk BASEL/FRTB regulations.
  • Preferred skills include Python programming and an understanding of finance industry modeling.
