Our Building business is one of Australia's largest construction companies, recognised for our market-leading design, project management and construction services. We push boundaries to create iconic places that are innovative, sustainable and commercially viable.
We continue to contribute to changing skylines, cityscapes and social infrastructure; delivering projects like the Martin Place & Victoria Cross Integrated Metro station developments (NSW), Circular Quay Tower (NSW), Cairns Convention Centre (QLD), Gold Coast Airport (QLD), Melbourne Quarter Commercial & Residential precinct (VIC) as well as state of the art health, defence and education facilities nationally.
Our Commercial Management function in Building fills a business-oriented position within a project; overseeing and managing the financial performance of a project through the identification and management of risk and opportunities through the various stages of a project lifecycle including contracts management. You will undertake rotations within various commercial functions to develop a holistic understanding of project commercials. You will gain exposure to bids and proposals through precontracts & tenders; learn about head contracts and subcontracts through collaboration with the Legal team; develop skills in forecasting, cashflow management and reporting within Project Finance.
We are searching for students from a range of academic backgrounds which may include or have related degrees in law, construction management, engineering, finance, construction economics or quantity surveying. You will enjoy interacting with a diverse range of individuals, be motivated by challenge and change whilst being driven to deliver results through your resourcefulness. We look for graduates who are passionate and motivated to make a difference, with a commitment to safety, sustainability and diversity.
Our projects can be found around the country; within metro and regional locations, so it is essential you would be prepared to be mobile/relocate across these project needs.
