The Role

The Customer Service Coordinator will provide day-to-day customer service and sales support to a portfolio of our Cans customers. They will handle enquiries from our customers and assist in processing orders, completing production requests, reporting on inventory, and assist with any other issues via email, phone and our eCommerce portal. This is a great opportunity for a Supply Chain graduate looking to kick start their career with a growing manufacturing business. You would be required to work in the Hawthorn Head Office at least 3 days a week, being mentored by our Customer Service Leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders in our ERP system and assist customers with requests for quotes, ETAs and stock availability
  • Fielding queries from customers and resolving where you can, or escalating to the relevant person within Orora
  • Stock allocation to orders and liaison with logistics & warehouse teams to ensure despatch as per order requirements
  • Communicating any delivery issues and delays to customers
  • Supporting the Sales team to communicate slow-moving stock issues to customers and working with customers on plans to run out aged stock.
  • Ensure new customers are set up and on-boarded to the e-commerce portal. 

About You

  • Prior experience in a customer service setting 
  • Open to graduates with Supply Chain or Logistics backgrounds
  • Proficient computer literacy skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible team player, with the ability to adapt to changes easily
