What you’ll do

As a part of our Global Systems Engineering Team located in Sydney, in your day-to-day work you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, testing and releasing embedded code for our innovative Connected IoT Lighting propositions and products, which are manufactured and deployed locally and globally on many iconic projects and landmark buildings.
  • Brainstorming with the Team of passionate professionals locally and globally our next breakthrough innovation in Connected IoT Lighting, turning customer needs into solutions and shaping the Design and Architecture of our Systems, to bring  Human-Centric Lighting Solutions  and Value Beyond Illumination to our Customers and Business Partners.

What you’ll need

We are looking for a recent graduate in Computer Science, Software, or Electronics Engineering with the ability to work in a global SAFe Agile team.

Skills and knowledge requirements:

  • Hands-on “C” programming skills specifically Embedded C and Debugging experiences are essential.
  • Good understanding of Embedded HW and interfaces, such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, SDIO.
  • Exposure to Embedded Linux Development, Yocto, Yocto recipes and Nginx configurations will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of Data Collection (sensing), data structures, algorithms and Digital Signal Processing on Embedded platforms will be an advantage.
  • Experience with JTAG, Oscilloscope & Logic Analysers, Wireshark (or similar Network protocol analysers) will be an advantage.
  • Experience with FreeRTOS, lwIP and mbedTLS (or other Open Source Software) will be an advantage.
  • Aware of Agile development methodology, static Code analysis tools (e.g. Coverity), JIRA and CICD environments.
  • Experience with TCP/IP and basic networking knowledge will be highly regarded.
  • Experience GUI design on STM32, including TouchGFX will be an advantage.
