The Opportunity:

This Graduate role will work with Stockland's Strategic Insights team who is responsible for enhancing business understanding of customer behaviours and needs. As such you will work with the Strategic insights team to provide data-led recommendations to the business for continuous improvement, gaining a broad understanding of their responsibility in ensuring the organisations success. This will help you decide where you would like to look for your next career step, after the Graduate program finishes.

Responsibilities are varied, including:

• Working with the research and data science team members to implement a novel data platform and other ML systems.
• Supporting data scientists within the team on data preparation and process automation.
• Delivering advanced analytics solutions – appropriate machine learning algorithms – using both existing and new datasets to ultimately improve customer-related processes and enterprise-wide decision making
• Supporting the delivery of the Enterprise Data Strategy
• Highlighting and resolving issues and informing data governance procedures through strong internal relationships with stakeholders, such as Research and IT

Requirements:

• You are currently studying for or have completed a suitable degree within 24 months of the program start date, in February 2022.
• We have a preference for applicants who have studied a Data Science, Data Engineering or Mathematics degree but will also consider other related degree subjects.
• You have achieved a 60% grade point average (GPA) or above either to date or overall in your degree subject.
• Due to the permanent nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia or New Zealand.
