Our Organisation

As the oldest bank and first company in Australia, we have more than 200 years of continuous service to the people of Australia.ย  Through our unique portfolio of brands, we support and serve over 13.9 million customers.

In 2019 Westpac was named Australiaโ€™s most sustainable bank by the Dow Jones Sustainability index.ย  It was also our 18th year in a row as a global banking leader, achieving the 9th spot globally.ย  This year, we were awarded first place by the Australian Network on Disability in the Access & Inclusion Top Performers 2021-22 list.

When you join us, youโ€™ll be empowered to make a difference, speak your truth and discover what success means to you.ย

Our Program

Weโ€™re looking to fill our programs with original thinkers and innovators from all degrees of study.ย  Challenging and rewarding โ€“ our programs will get your career off to a flying start.

Eligibility

You must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident, AND be in your final year of study of a university degree OR completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.

Youโ€™ll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2023.

Our Specialist Robotics Program

This program has been designed for you to get straight into a defined role and team for an extended period, but still not lose the perks of a grad program, including the connection to a larger cohort and direct access to our leadership team.

You'll spend 12 months in a team, building a well-rounded understanding of how that technology function works. You'll be surrounded by leaders who are invested in your development and focused on providing tailored experiences to match your determination and drive to explore their area of expertise.ย

PLEASE NOTE: This program doesn't involve rotations.

Robotics & Intelligent Automation is a strategic priority for Westpac. At the very core of Robotics & Intelligent Automation we build, maintain, and improve automations in the bank that have material impacts to customer satisfaction. This stream offers you rotations across all functions in the Robotics & Automation Services (RAS) team. This program will focus on building your automation skills through a carefully designed graduate academy.ย

As a RAS grad, youโ€™ll be surrounded by buddies, teams, managers, and senior leadership who are invested in your development. Join the growing number of graduates who have successfully completed the RAS program and are now permanent members of the team.

Apply for this program if you want to join an award-winning, internationally recognised team and want to receive globally recognised robotic accreditations; accelerate your learning and development in a rapidly growing, yet still niche industry.

Online Application

Your application will take approximatelyย 10 minutesย to complete and must be submitted online.ย  You will need to upload a PDF or Word version of your resume AND a copy of your Academic Transcripts.

IMPORTANT:ย When completing the application form, please ensure you EXPAND ALL SECTIONS to INCLUDE your EDUCATION details and UPLOAD your RESUME & ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT.
