I work with the Law Design and Practice (LDP) financial advisor group. My role requires delivering financial resource management activities to enable the delivery of organisational priorities.

Brittany Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and a Bachelor of Finance from the Australian National University and is now an actuarial associate at PwC.

As a team, we like to take 5 minutes to stand up and move around. This can include anything from a light stretch to a push-up challenge … whatever you feel like doing, fitting in 5 minutes is a great way to take a break from the screen and get the blood flowing.

Every day at 10 AM, my team has a short meeting to go 'around the grounds' and explain our priority tasks for the day.

The Partner with who I work for has an open-door policy, and it absolutely applies even with him working in the Sydney office and me in the Canberra office. I’m a bit stuck on what to do in one of my files, so I give him a call to discuss my ideas and get his thoughts.

My team specialises in aviation law so I frequently get to work on airport-related matters.
