How do assessment centres work at PwC?

Kate Le Pontois

Early Careers Attraction & Engagement Senior Consultant

For the recruitment process of our graduate program, we run assessment centres or what we like to call them, "solutions labs." It's a chance for students who are successful from the previous round to come in and meet a couple of PwC representatives, which might be a director, senior manager or senior associates.

You receive a case study that you have to read through and present back to the PwC reps who will ask you any questions they might have. It's a really good opportunity to demonstrate your problem solving skills, as well as your presentation and communication skills, and build that rapport of really important skills. It's also a great chance to meet with a couple of people from PwC to ask them any questions, and to put your best self forward and build a connection with them.

We run the assessment centres only for our graduate program and from there, we move on to the interview stage. For our vacation programs, we put successful candidates through to the interview stage.
