Disability Support at nbn

At nbn, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace, which strives to support and enable employees with disability.

At nbn, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace, which strives to support and enable employees with disability.

We are proud to have launched our Accessibility and Inclusion Plan 2019-2021, which aims to ensure people with disability feel valued, supported and included in our organisation.

The Plan outlines the steps nbn aims to take to implement our goals for the inclusion of people with disability as employees, customers and communities.

The Plan will be part of our work culture; from the recruitment process, the first day with us and beyond. Another goal is to positively impact our consumers, as we work together as one team to focus on accessibility across our business.

A key part of our commitment is our partnership with the Australian Network on Disability. The partnership with expert advisors, while listening to our employees, we are continually striving to understand the needs of our people and improve the accessibility of our workplace for all.

Making adjustments to support you

nbn aims to provide a positive, barrier-free recruitment process for people with disability or accessibility needs. We know this might involve making reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process, including alternative formats, so we can get to know you in the best possible way.

Once you join nbn, if there are reasonable adjustments that need to be made to your workplace or workstation so you can perform your best, we’ll work with you to develop an appropriate solution.

If you have any support or access requirements, please contact the nbn Talent Acquisition Team at the time of application we can assist you through the recruitment process.
